Card market intelligence · scored in the open
Know which cards are moving before the price shows it.
We watch every eBay listing our readers are shown, every day: who is listing, how fast, at what ask. Volume moves first; price follows. CardMods sells that read as a clean API, and every call our models make is written down and graded at 7 and 14 days.

Four reads, one key
Movers by volume
/v1/moversEvery card we observed this week, scored on listing velocity, listings seen and ask drift. Rising, cooling or steady, with the numbers behind the call.
Buy windows
/v1/buy-windowsNHL skaters whose stats turned hot while their card market has not answered, plus the Young Guns formula's buy, stage and sell calls with expected 14 and 30-day moves.
Value
/v1/valueOne card: thirty days of listings seen, new and gone, ask quartiles, sellers, our price reads, and every open call on it with that model's measured hit rate attached.
Young Guns weekly
/v1/young-gunsEvery Upper Deck Young Guns card, every season since 2015-16, read from live eBay listings once a week: raw and PSA 10.
And the scorecard, free and keyless: the hit rate of every model, every window. Check it before you buy.
Method
Why volume
Volume moves first
A sold price tells you what already happened. The number of copies being listed, and how fast new ones land, changes days before the asking price does. We keep every listing we see, so that signal exists as a daily series per card.
Our own observations
Nothing here is a scraped price guide. These are our own observations through eBay's Browse API, rolled up per card per day: listings seen, new, gone, ask low to high with quartiles, sellers, auctions.
Graded, in public
A model that is never graded is an opinion. Ours log each call before the outcome is known and score it against what the market did at 7 and 14 days. The scorecard is public. If a line is not proven, we say so.
